Watched the news last night with a soldier who drove a land rover which came under fire, his mate was killed and he lost an arm. It is clear that the two governments and others thought that they could just go into iraq , unseat Saddam , leave and then peace and tranquility would descend on the country .
However without a plan for the post invasion and the infighting of the various religous factions , with hindsight it was a wrong move
