I know that people will say that the victims are only cats, but they were much-loved family members and easy prey to someone many times their size. I hope that he never gets the chance to kill any more vulnerable animals and humans.

jim the sentences in this country are a joke. I watch real crime stuff on youtube - they get sentences like ' life plus 60 years'.

I saw a story this morning about a kitten that had been sequally assulted. It is now in the care of the RSPCA. I can't find the story now but it is truly horrific.

If we are being truthful we are all capable of lashing out and hurting a child or animal. But all the crimes mentioned on this thread are not the sort carried out by a sane person.

It is beyond comprehension how anyone could kill, injure or whatever a vulnerable member of our world. Can you imagine what these people would do with a child?

I read that about the sexually abused kitten, broken legs, set on fire. Still alive and now being cared for. Wish I hadn't seen it.

Sorry, I probably shouldn't have put that on here. I wish I hadn't read myself. I clicked a link on here yesterday to a news item and read that and as you do had a look around and saw the kitten story. I clicked back but then curiosity got me. I had it in my head when I went to bed last night.

I get very frustrated when a cat fouls my garden but I would never dream of hurting one.

I can't think of any more vulnerable looking baby animal than a cat, even full grown they are not big animals. It takes a total sadist to intentionally hurt them, especially in the horrible ways mentioned.

Such humans should be forced to give up their rights to be a member of the human race.
