Yes, using different email addresses . It's been done quite a lot in the past. I'm not sure there are many examples apart from where people forgot their details or wanted a fresh start so started again

i think those must be different people joining after an internet search - what would be the point of asking the same Q more than once? I have 3 accounts.

Mally did you post this with a huge wooden spoon in your hand? I would have thought during the 8 years you've been on here you would know the answer to your question .
I would presume if the editorial staff did not want multiple users they would ban offending users by their ISP numbers rather than email addresses.

Danny I really don't know why you feel the need to post that site rule when you know perfectly well, as do all of us that have been here a long time, that loads of people have had more than one username and lots of them don't get banned.

back in the day, 15 years ago (before it was so taboo to have more than one account and before I realised AB was like that all the time) I felt like I was being bullied by one particular user but wanted to keep using this site but with a "clean slate" so I changed usernames. then about 10 years ago I had a personal tragedy, and lovely people on here kept asking how I was, and It was difficult to deal with, so I asked ed if I could temporarily get another account so that I could post and read without worrying someone would ask me something that would make me cry. All 3 accounts are still active apparently because I just looked at them
