its another early start, but as before it's quiet and peaceful, hopefully your day will be a good one. Are you doing anything special today, i know some are at work, so hopefully it isn't too stressful for you. I did attend the GP yesterday and he thinks i have sciatica, which is causing me a deal of pain, and has prescribed codeine for it. It didn't help falling on sunday, idiot thing to do i must admit. But will see if the meds help.
it's still dark and the nights are drawing in, autumn seems only a short way away, without the benefit of a summer, at least that what it feels like here in the capital.
i so long for some warmth and sunshine, its been mostly cloudy and dull, though not cold. Thoughts go to foreign holidays, which i haven't had for years, and miss them a lot. Last one was to Kos and was a wonderful time. Supping a cold beer and eating delicious souvlaki, and other delights. aahh.....
i did on sunday, playing swingball a kids game, we were larking about and i just toppled over, much to my embarrassment. I am now feeling the pain of that, but if its sciatica then that's been 11 days and counting, very painful. How are you this morning?
I’m not working today but I have woken daft early. Yesterday morning I did some drawing then went for a long walk, and then did some swimming. Afternoon was shopping and then a few beers at teatime. So I was very tired and went to bed really early. Hence I am awake early.
Today I need a new job, so I am doing lots of applying. The forecast is quite nice in the afternoon so I might go on a cycle ride. I will be making Fish Tikka to marinate for eating later in the week. My girlfriend is making evening meal, so going to her house. Will watch some Ted Lasso and Schiggadoon together.
i hope to have the engineer come and fix the hot water problem, which i have had since saturday, which is a nuisance more than anything as its where i dry my clothes and the tank is stone cold.
soon as the engineer have fixed the hot water system, then i will pop round to Boots and collect it. The odd thing is that it's easier to stand or walk, than it's to sit or lie down which is when the pain is at it's worst.
