...Borthwick is a disaster, with week to the world cup we can write that off. He'll have to go straight after though.

*weeks!
It's all part of a deep strategy of lulling the rest of the world into a false sense of complacency. No other plausible explanation.

CTG, I don't think so, we have the ability in there somewhere but I think the players are not happy with Borthwick and are just going through the motions.
Here's hoping they find what they're looking for. ;-)

All the home nations are better than us at the moment, Scotland have come on leaps and bounds, Ireland are world no 1 though they inexplicably made hard work of Samoa yesterday. So I'd say Ireland and France have the best chance of stopping the Southern Hemisphere domination.
TBH I was being sarcastic. England are in dire straits right now.
I have genuine concerns this might be 2015 all over again and Eng don’t make it of the group. Argentina are a great side (and I love the style of their play) and of course they beat us the last time we played them. Japan can be a banana skin - ask RSA, which by the way I rank as one of the most exciting games I’ve seen.

Undeniably the talent is there - England boast a number of players that would be in any World 15 - but something just isn’t working at the moment.

Having said the above, Eng went into the 2007 WC in a bit of turmoil and reached the final. So who knows.

The only silver lining at the moment is that as poor as Eng are they’re still better than Wales.

Yes in 2007 the players basically sidelined the coach (Ashton) and worked it among themselves and but for a dodgy decision nearly won it! If that happens again great but I can't see it.
Being at Twickenham when France utterly destroyed us in the 6N earlier this year, my money is on them - plus home advantage, although the loss of Ntamack is a huge blow for them, although, blimey, RSA we’re brilliant on Friday night and Esterhuizon looked scarily good.

I don’t think Eng have a chance so in a way I’m looking forward to the WC as I have no expectations…and the RWC drives my wife mad because I always watch every single game. I love it.
