Anyone know how to obtain deceased g/father's army record from 1st WW.I have his army no.plus regiment.Thanks.

I have a copy of Simon's first edition of this book, he has sinmce updated it to include online sources and up to date info on Regimental Museums and the indexes at the national Archive Kew

Go to National Archives WW1 records.Unfortunately a lot of the records were destroyed by fire in the 2nd World War,I was lucky and I got my fathers full record.Good Luck
