roxborough nursing home-harrow
this home was last recorded 1961, a miss ellen catherine jones run the home from about 1917. does anyone have info on either. regards, aslave

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.thanks meadow lane, i am in contact with the local history librarian at harrow, but he's unable to find any info. the purpose behind all this is to find the resting place of henry john lawson who resided there and died on the 12th. july 1925. nothing has shown up on parish or cemetry records. he just fell off the radar. aslave
Thank you for your posting saying more about your search. It immediately occurs to me that the Roxborough Nursing Home must have been in a parish. Perhaps the church would have records about deaths in their parish? But you say that there is no parish record. On thinking about how frustrating this must be for you it occurs to me that an undertaker would likely have records?
