Philladelphia
In the welsh part of my family tree there is a a Philladelphia born in 1776. What puzzles me is it is a tiny village in the middle of nowhere so where would the name Philladelphia have come from? Obviously 1776 is a significant year but does anyone know anything about possible welsh emigration at that time - the name is so out of place there must be a reason for it but I can't fin it.
