Just checking the 1851 census for Market Street Manchester and almost every person on that RD have been transcribed my the ancestry team as born Mchester because the enumerator on the original used the abbreviation M'chester instead of the " sign!!!! Yet again a totally stupid error, cos the transcribers have managed to transcribe the name of the district, which is Market Stret MANCHESTER!!!
