Really stumped here. I thought only Midas was the answer.
But here it is not so.

It cannot be MIDAS as in the same crossword there is another clue
33A Greedy king of Pessinus, Phrygia ( 5) This answer is Midas.

The only explanation is that the 36a clue is wrong.
Any suggestions ?

Amos is a possible answer if they have used the wong clue. I think he was a Hebrew prophet

Can someone identify this crossword which might have been published earlier.
That would be easier then to identify if the given clue is wrong.

Hence the 36a clue must be wrong.
