That begins at 2.05, with 3 more races from the 'Roodee' and 3 from Kelso.

The feature race is the Chester Vase, but there is also a listed race (Cheshire Oaks) before it in which Daddy O'Brien goes head to head with O'Brien Jnr.

While the Chester meeting provides us with some class racing, it is Kelso where the handicaps are to be found for us small-stakes punters.

Same thoughts as you Ken I ignored it because of the stall 13 draw and the horse being only an inexperienced 3yr old. Very well ridden by Nolan who came across to the rail at the start and then had a cheeky dash up the inside on the fast tight bend. He rode the course just like Pat Eddery.

And yet, Togo, had i been at the course, i would have definitely had an e.w. punt on it. But when i go racing, my 'gambling bank' is always bigger than when i'm sat at home.

Just the one winner, Lily Du Berlais, but i did manage a forecast with Call Me Jack and Faithful Flyer (i also have a Faith in the family).

The 1.50 at Huntingdon opens today's ITV 7, followed by 4 races from Chester and 2 from Gowran Park???

As one would expect, i've thrown some shrapnel at Vintage Clarets in the opener at Chester (@ 8/1) - a race in which few of the runners meet more than a couple of the stats criteria. Last 11 winners have all been drawn between 1 and 4, and highest weight carried in this race in the last 20 years is 9-5, so VC (drawn 5 and carryig 9-10) has no chance - but i'd be kicking myself if it did.

Nothing much to fancy in the ITV7 for me Ken. Beenn a tad busy in the garden getting things sorted. Just done a quick e/w Trixie at Chester and off out. Judging by yesterdays crowd at Chester interest looks low for everyone. No Koukash either. Good Luck all.

Today's £10K ITV7 begins with the 1.50 Ascot, then takes in 4 from Chester and 2 from Market Rasen.

All i had to show from yesterday's efforts was an e.w. place. I did mange a couple of winners last night, but i still finished the day in the red.

Just finished having a look before I go out Ken. Why are we at Markret Rasen for a novice hurdle race? Makes no sense with the flat underway? Ah well. I have done a speculative punt at long odds from the handicap races that deserve attention.
