I have fully copmrehensive car insurence and have done for almost a year but i was driving my farthers car in huddersfield and got stoped as his insurence had not cleared on the database so its was showing none, so i was poduced however it has come to my attention that although im copmrehensive it does'nt mean you can drive any other car, this is my fault for not checking my policy i know, but what is likley to happen when i appear in court i have no driving ofenses or points .
To actually answer the question... I would consult the Oracle under the old town hall, he is located in the catacombs and requires the blood of ten virgins to advise on insurance claims.
Whatever you do don't talk to the Minotaur on the High Street, he only deals with 3rd part claims and has a tendency to hack people's heads off.
You'd probably get the answer you're after if you post this in the Law section. You've asked the question in the section for Myths & Legends - the law heads will have an answer for you in a few mins if you post there.
I thought that if you had fully comprehensive insurance, that meant you could drive another car but only under third party cover. I've never read the small print either. I don't know what will happen to you Kristel, but I hope all goes well in court.
