psychosomatic illness, depression etc

Thanks, A. This makes sense. I've tried to discover what exactly Himmler's personal
'doctor' was treating, as he (Felix Kirsten) was actually a masseur. The chronic gastric
symptoms were probably psychosomatic, and Himmler was reputed to be something of a hypochondriac.
Kirsten was NOT a doctor - he was a combination of personal masseur and confidant for Himmler.
Himmler was a hypochondriac and suffered from "stomach cramps" which were only alleviated by a massage from Kirsten
Wasn't his malady similar to Gorings?
