Just to add - Jane Seymour died around 10 d after giving birth - this is classical for infection acquired in giving birth

 Katherine Parr survives Henry VIII and marries one of Edward VI's uncles Somerset i think, and dies also in childbirth within a year or so of henry's death. She was in her thirties and Henry in his fifties.

Yes she married thomas seymour, baron of sudeley,younger brother of jane seymour.. it was in fact her fourth husband she died six days after giving birth to a girl on sept 5 1548...interesting footnote is that for a while elizabeth was taken under her wing  katherine acting as her legal guardian.. and theres a lot of historical evidence that elizabeth may have been abused by seymour, during this time and he even tried to marry her after katherines death, in a plot to take over the throne, he was thwarted and was executed in 1549.
