White Middle Class pose biggest terrorist threat
Just hours BEFORE the Norweigan attack, the Daily Mail published this report...
// The promotional video is part of Homeland Security's $10million 'See Something, Say Something' programme as they believe it will help curb random acts of terrorism by individuals.
But the controversial video has angered some Americans due to the fact all the actors who play the would-be terrorists in the video are white //

Watch most films or TV programmes and it is a very rare occasion when a black is shown in 'bad light'.
The boss of the police etc is generally black and if a black is accused of a crime before the last scene has been shown, it generally turns out that it was all a mistake and the black guy wasn't a bad guy after all.
It is the same over this terrorist attack in Norway, now the whole white Right-Wing is suspect for one single nutter's actions.
Yet when there is a Islamic attack and there have been many involving a number of terrorists, then 'they' are quick to roll out the message that all Muslims are not the same and these attacks are only caused by a very small minority, the rest are hard working loyal to Britain, people.
I am waiting for the same to be said about white persons whose political leanings happen to be towards the right of the political spectrum.

The trouble ever since the demise of Syney Poitier there have been very few black actors of note. Putting on make-up to appear like Al Jolson is heavily frowned upon and appear racist.
When black actors started to appear in Eastenders they ruined the plot with their ham acting although it has improved slightly since.

By the way, isn't it astonishing when people who are known to paint a whole race with the same brush suddenly shout about unfair 'brush-wielding' when someone of their own race commits an atrocity?
If hypocasy was cash, then there are some who would be flipping millionaires right now.
(No idea if I spell 'hypocasy' or 'millionaire' correctly there).

"I have a TV, sp. But I have not heard of any one of the people you mention!"
You've not heard of Samuel Jackson or Denzel Washington? Seriously?

This is simply not true. CSI [in all its forms], for instance, has quite regularly had black perpetrators. I'm extremely sceptical about the assertions you've made here.

I'm really glad you've noticed this. I can only speak for myself here, but I think a big reason the events and links in Norway have been emphasized in the way that they have been on this site is to repeat the same logic that resident right-wingers like yourself use about Muslims, in order to demonstrate what's wrong with it. I really, really hope you think about this next time you're about to make a crass generalisation about Islam - how do you like it when people are doing it to your "side"? Do you now understand why it's illogical to make judgements about whole groups of people based on violent minorities?

I really do not know any of the people mentioned. I rarely watch films (last visit to the cinema was in 1979) and rarely, if ever, watch anything made in the USA, mainly because I can only understand about one word in ten of the dialogue. I assume that most of those mentioned are American and that may explain my ignorance. In addition I had not heard of Amy Winehouse until her recent untimely death.
Morgan Freeman? Man or woman? Just looked up The Shawshank Redemption on IMDB so it seems he is a man. Plot of said film: "Two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency." Not for me I'm afraid!
On the plus side I can write down all 50 States of the USA together with their State Capitals, can recite from memory every station on each London Underground line and Docklands Railway route and know who was Best Man at the wedding of Princess Alexandra and Mr Angus Ogilvy (Mr Feathergreene Fairfax). So I guess mt memory is full !!
