There are probably many answers... depends on the context. However one answer is that Midian is both a person and a place.  Midian was a son of Abraham and his concubine Keturah (Genesis 25:1-6). Additionally, Moses fled to Midian (where the person Midian had settled) and spent  40 years between the time that he fled Egypt after killing an Egyptian who had been beating a Hebrew (Exodus 2:11-15), and his return for the Exodus (Exodus 4:18)...
Clanad there was no answer when I started to reply, sorry to duplicate.
Not a problem silly moo, happens to me all the time.  Had one not long ago that was empty when I started my composition and when I clicked submit, there were suddenly 6!
