Hello :) Got a couple of ideas milling around but thought I'd see what other ideas people might come up with for some more inspiration.
I'm thinking of ideas for a team lunch (for up to 12 people) which is reasonable cost wise as low budget, easy to transport and heat (if necessary) as only two microwaves available and quick to heat/set up/eat. I'm looking at cooking/preparing in advance. Needs to be easy to carry too as it's got to travel via two buses and I can't manage anything too heavy on my own. Can be one main thing to which others can contribute extras too and could do themed ideas.
We have a buffet meal as one of our christmas do's, everyone brings a little something and it's always quite a good mix. My contribution is usually french bread sticks, butter, pate (meat and macrel), I think if you did something like that it would be easy to carry, very cheap and you could add crisps and dip and some little cakes.
Great ideas :) We had chilli today, someone did it in a slow cooker and heated it up and it was gorgeous! We brought thinks like nachos, sour cream, cheese and rice. Did a buffet last week and ended up with a proper feast! Sorry, should have mentioned them above, only done the last couple of weeks at a new place so they are the only two we've done so far. Definitely great ideas to do again in the future though as they worked really well.
