An Early Good Morning.

Mornin' all, I was looking at the Mail online and thought this might be of interest to those of you who follow what Susanna Reid is wearing. http://www.dailymail....-life-public-eye.html

I will soon be finishing my shift then home to my pit. Three shifts to do next week before this establishment closes for good due to government cutbacks. The closure will mark the end of part of the oldest operational airfield camp in England, being built before WW1 and with most of the original buildings still standing and listed. A sad time for all locals concerned.

Thanks Wharton, I have been able to transfer to another local establishment but it means going from a 2 mile drive at present to a 4 mile drive so not sure how I will cope with that. lol.

Morning all from a mild and slightly misty NW Wales. Carneddau Range in Snowdonia is shrouded in a mist which hopefully will burn off in the sweltering heat I hope we get today. I notice jdhere hasn't booked in yet - must have been the excitement of the footie last night (3-2 to York City by the way - yippeeeee) not that i would want to rub it in (much!).

Morning moonraker and all. Sorry to hear about that moonraker. Hope everything works out ok for you. Its always sad when local folk suffer because of a large concern closing. Will they be keeping all the buildings etc as listed and a part of local history ?

morning TOH - how's Brid this morning? Hoping that when the summer comes along (if ever) I might get a few days on the old stomping grounds at Scarboro and Brid maybe even Hornsea (not been there for donkeys years they still had the pottery then). Is the Rose Park pottery still going?
