"Annie's Girls"

Ed, please allow me if you will......
This is REALLY REALLY important. This message came from one of my closest friends and it made me cry because I know how close she was to Annie and Annie's daughters are the playmates of my friend's sons. Please read and if you can, support, "Annie's Girls":-
"On 1 July this year I was hoping to do 'Race for Life' in Blackheath to support a wonderful friend, Annie, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. Last year, a small group of us walked 5k to with her to celebrate her road to recovery and managed to raise £2500 for Cancer Research UK. The cancer came back and Annie died last week, three days after her 42nd birthday.
So, this year our Race for Life group is called 'Annie's Girls' in honour of her two young daughters aged 3 & 5 and the target is £5000. We race to celebrate the advances in cancer treatment which gave Annie two extra years to enjoy her daughters, partner, family and friends. And we race so research can continue and that noone else suffers the utter heartbreak of losing such an extraordinary person from their lives.
Please donate generously and help us reach our target. And please feel free to forward this email to family & friends.
Thank you for your support
