princes in the towers

there was an excellent programme the other day- anyone with any thoughts/evidence as to what happened to the princes
my theories are this- very surprised that imposter did not recognise dr argentine and also the"real"twins shown dememted and chained- would their imprisoners leave the proof of kingship cloth of gold with them ?- and why not rid of these twins totally ,as alive they were still a threat to the monarchy?

Well tali, we have 2 problems in this case,ie the 2 "baddies" who both had their resons for getting rid of the Princes.

1st Their Uncle Richard,who as Richard III said he was taking the throne until the eldest Prince was of age,some story! Richard had a son of his own,who he probably wanted to follow him;sadly the boy was killed(young) in a battle.

2nd.Henry VII,who took the throne after the death of Richard III at the battle of Bosworth.What a shock it might have been for him to find the Princes(alive?) and the eldest having much more right to the throne(being a Kings Son) than Henry (descended from a King's Widows 2nd marriage on one side,and a very weak link to John of Gaunt on the other).

HenryVII also married the Princes Sister(Elizabeth) to,he said,"Unite" the Houses of York and Lancaster,more like giving him more right to the throne if you ask me.

Just who did kill the Princes?,well thats up to you.However in the late 1800's the skeletons of two young boys were found,under the floor of the tower where the Princes were last seen.These were reburied in Westminster Abbey.In the 1960's the bones were restudied,and the ages of the boys fitted with the Princes,so it is probable that these are their bones.Just by who/why they were killed is a mystery.
