I am still having trouble getting my head round this: I only need 2 more now - and would appreciate hellywelly keeping their sarcastic remarks to themself!!!

2. A female either side of royalty (5 letters)
6. Any noble has two ways to convert (4 and 6 letters)

All answers relates to English royalty since the Norman conquest of 1066, any ideas greatfully welcome.

cOULD IT BE REGAL er REVERSED AND GAL
Answer to number 6 is Anne Boleyn - anagram of 'any noble' and a N and an E from North and East compass points! Still struggling with number 2.
A Female either side of Royalty is HENRY. A Female = Hen and either side of Royalty is R and Y hence Henry.
Why is hellywelly4's answer sarcastic?
Why haven't you selected a best answer?
