"Is this correct?" asked Stephen. or "Is this correct?" Stephen asked. I always thought that where there was a full stop, as in the question mark, the following word had to have a capital letter, but which of the two examples is correct? Ta (or ta) Muchly.
Many Thanks All and to you jno for the further explanation....a right mess I've made of things. And if Basingstoke is near Guildford EcclesCake, then I live near....why, want to visit? asked Woodelf...smile!
Woodelf, I visited your website this week after someone posted a link. I was shopping in Guildford on Friday and saw someone who looked a lot like you.
I hope you listened to the Mark Steel Radio 4 show from Basingstoke, it was really quite funny.
Shush EcclesCake, that's my sister, but we're trying to keep it quiet!..her beard's more real than mine!...only joking, I think, but I wonder who that poor so and so could be?...smile. No, didn't manage to catch that Mark Steel show, praps it's on the BBC website; I'll have a look, maybe.
Aaahh, so you know about the famous bearded lady of Guildford!!!
It was just a bit of a surprise having looked at your website to see someone who looks like Big Jim Sullivan (if you don't know he was a big guitarist in the '70's) with an assistance dog in Guildford.
The Mark Steel programme is worth checking out, the ones I've heard have been very good.
I should have said earlier, I think your art work is quite remarkable.
