military cross citation

My relative wwas awarded the Military Cross but never talked about it. Now he has died and I would like to know where and why he won it. He was a sapper officer who saw active service in the Western Desert in the second world war though he may have got the medal earlier.

Ancestry hold some military records, inc medal rolls. If you want to post a name/regiment I'm sure someone would have a look for you
