Ipad 4 Help For Techo Thicky !!!
7 Answers
My daughter had an ipad 4 for xmas...£400 worth. It stopped charging 3 months later and tescos replaced it. It's now done the same again. It will only charge when the unit is off and then it takes ages.
Is there an issue with these units regarding charging ? im pretty sure she doesn't mis-treat it (although she's only 14 !!!!)
Many thanks

However hers is still within warranty so you're covered, might be worth trying direct with Apple as I have known people just get straight swaps no questions asked.
Are you using a charger designed for an iPad? iPad's take a lot of power to charge. For instance an ipod charger is not powerful enough to charge an iPad, this is also true of most PC usb sockets. What happens is it cannot charge while it is on and will only charge slowly if it is off, which seems the same as your problem
