Hi to all other demented cruciverbalists!
Struggling with last 2 which intersect. 24A Maybe setter's part solution to his problem arriving the morning after. 1,4,2,3,3,4,3,3, i have -, -A--, -F, -H-, D-G, -H-T, -I-, H-M. Must be something like A CASE OF THE DOG THAT BIT HIM, but other than a setter being a dog, I can't see much connection! 21D Old woman for us to hear perhaps and see in Ireland, 7 letters, I have -E-A-H. The E is from CASE which may be wrong.
All help and explanations from you clever lot will be much appreciated!

P.S. I enjoyed this crossword, and I like this setter, he has a nasty twisted mind!!
