Edward John 'johnny' Jackett
2 Answers
Does anybody have any knowledge of any book or biography written about Edward John 'Johnny' Jackett (1878-1935). He was a renowned cyclist in the 1890's for Cornwall, a renowned Rugby Player for Cornwall, British Lions and England in late 1890's to 1910, won a silver medal at 1908 Olympics for Rugby. Was a model for Henry Scott Tuke. Despite all this I cannot find any book/biography dedicated specifically to him.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He is in this book - but half of Cornwall seems to be in it too.

Hi wolf63. Thank you for your response. He is mentioned in several books/articles (i.e Books on Henry Scott Tuke to who he was a model), and several references regarding his Rugby career, but as you say there appears to be nothing , in book terms, written specifically about him.
Thanx again for your response and interest.
