Today, the Scottish government issued a white paper, "Scotland's Future", possibly one of the most important documents in the history of the United Kingdom. My prediction is that not one single person in the UK, outwith Scotland, will read the paper, yet will still feel qualified to pronounce on Scottish affairs. This being AnswerBank, my question is "Am I right, or a meringue?"
I don't see why they need independence, to do what? What will they achieve on their own? And I really hope the rest of Scotland feel the same way. I haven't the time to read the White paper I hope the newspapers will spell out the salient bits tomorrow.
