Did Rugby school punish Flashman for his bullying ways?
i thought they were made prefects rather than expelled
Flashman was expelled for being drunk.

I'm glad that didn't happen at my school. There would've been no girls left in my house, lol.
I bet that soon after being expelled from a public school for drinking he carried on his activities at a public house.
oo dunno
some are still putting up with it, you know
oops

I was gonna say - evelyn waugh ( famous homophobe along with his son Auberon ) his brother Alec was thrown out of Sherborne 1919 for ... well ,,,,, kissing boys.

They both kept quiet about that when they were being famously "anti - homosexualist "

all this was forgotten until Alec on a family holiday mentioned a " brown skinned long-legged moroccan waiter " and they shuffled uncomfortably and though amongst themselves - oo-er he's at it again....

I forgot my uncle was chucked out of Michaelhouse a notoriously tough S A school for - bullying. 1920. My father was sent back and had to face the boys he had bullied as the head master didnt agree he was at risk.
