Supersititon In 19Th-Century Wales
Hi there
Does anyone know anything about 19th century Welsh superstition, or know of any good resources about same? I'm after two things, really: (a) more information on the phrase 'to see the leaf' - a coal mining term which seems to predict death; and (b) some general household superstitions which would have been common at the time. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks.
