I wonder if Obama has ever heard about Napoleon or Hitler? They should give him a heads up about the inadvisability of provoking the Russian bear.

And who has a billion dollars to spare anyway? There is a list as long as your arm of countries the yanks have invaded so they can't get on their moral high horse about Russia.

There’s one essential Law of History. It goes like this – “Don’t mess with Russia – it’s too big and has too many men and its winters are too cold.” It wasn’t just Napoleon and Hitler – King Christian of Sweden had a go even earlier – and he met with disaster, too.
P.S. - did you know that Napoleon’s men’s trouser buttons crumbled in the cold so they had to fight with one hand using a weapon and the other hand holding their trousers up ?
Obviously safety pins hadn’t been invented by then.
