This programme was shown on Sunday. It was a very interesting programme on how the first tanks were originally adapted from tractors! How mules & dogs were used for front line duties. For anyone interested that missed the programme here's a link ..

when they were developing the first tanks it was very hush-hush, and I think they gave out that they were building water tanks - hence the name
