err - they're not that tall?
Superstition
Superstition about the number 13 they go from 12 to 14
They do but it's numbered as the 14th in the elevator
The levels of a multi-story building are numbered sequentially, from "one" or "ground" upwards. In some countries, the number 13 is considered unlucky and building owners will sometimes purposely omit the thirteenth floor. Even landlords who are not themselves superstitious realize that the rentability of suites on the 13th floor might be compromised because of superstitious tenants, or tenants who are afraid their own customers might be superstitious.

I'm ashamed to admit that I thought it was the superstition thing too.

My street has not got a number 13 . All houses and they go from 1 to 38. But minus 13.
Why don't they have a twelfth floor (although many do)?

I worked in a building with the thirteenth floor called the 'Mezzanine' with no number attached.

My house is really No.13, my next door neighbour is No 11, my house is no 15 and my other neighbour is at No.17. I'd lived there a few months before I realised No 13 was missing.
