Please Help Me! I'm Worrying Myself To Death Here! Answer?? 10 Points Best Answer!?

Ok I have an extremely bad anxiety problem, it all started a little over 2 years ago when I smoked weed and had a pretty bad panic attack. It was my first one I ever had and it started my anxiety disorder...ever since then, I have been battling with depersonalization/derealization and I am terribly scared to go near any type of drug again! Especially WEED! So, it has just recently been getting a little better, I have started college, and I am thinking about all of this crap less, which made my depersonalization get much better. Now, though I have problem on my hands...My little brother who is 17 has now started to get into smoking weed with friends and such, and he comes back to the house, and I don't want to touch anything he touches! I know this Is going to sound stupid but I'm scared to touch anything he touches in the house because he touches weed when he goes out with friends and smokes it, and he doesn't wash his hands hardly ever! So I'm worried if he touches the doorknob or something after he has smoked, and then i touch the doorknob, the weed will transfer to my hand, and then if i don't wash my hands and get a snack or something...i am not touching my food that i will eventually put into my mouth! THEN I INGEST THC, which then makes me high, then i get a panic attack, then i get depersonalization all over again! Its a horrible cycle, and I'm afraid! What do i do? It took me years to get over depersonalization, I have tried so hard to stay away from weed! Can ya help me! Did I get high at all??

Anxiety problems are for the docs to sort out. Drug phobias too.
One can understand a desire not to be in contact with something that proved a weakness for you earlier in life but rationally you know touching something someone who uses drugs touched, has no real effect. That what you describe is all in your mind. You, yourself, say you know it is stupid, although not a word I'd have used.
Go to your GP, tell them how you have these mental issues, and do whatever they suggest. Probably counselling or some such thing.
