WW1 gas usage
Did the Allies use gas in WW1, or was it just the Germans?

the wind blew the wrong way and it blew back, and the Froggies told the poilus to shoot the fleeing Frenchmen.
The Great War is out on disc and i am sure that there is a prog on this which i remember when it was first broadcast in erm 1964 - i have a long memory.
it was also used in Caporetto high up in the alps with terrible results
Mustard Gas, so called because that's what it was supposed to smell a bit like. see here for more info on this nasty chemical used by Germany but not Allies during WWI.
