There are only wreaths laid for Commonwealth countries and it is only recently that one has been laid by the Republic of Ireland. I have always wondered why some of the "royals" in uniform wear poppies yet the rank and file do not. Does anyone know why that is?
It's remembering the Commonwealth Countries that lost soldiers in the war, they remember Irish men as it was pre partitian
