I've just bought a book about this fantastic structure. I was looking through youtube for anything that could also give me a visual of how it was in the 16th century. This is what I found, fantastic!

It does, must have been a lively and at times smelly place.


As a child I used to love to read about the Ice Fairs held on the Thames, they sounded wonderful but am sure they had a dark side too.

Yes! There's was a 'keeper of the head's' that ended up on traitors gate. Old heads were just thrown in to the water. I have a book about the frost fairs mamya.
