Old Roman Coin

Hi can anyone help me here. I have no idea where to start.
I have been given a very old quite worn roman coin or at least I think that's what it is.
Its very small, not even as big as a 5p and appears to be bronze.
There is no writing where the head is but on the reverse there is writing only.
it reads something like : CONJTHN T I N V A VC I think and there are 3 more letters I am struggling to make out.
I really hope this makes sense to someone who can point me in the right direction.

You could take it to your local museum, and ask their coin expert.

I agree that it could be CONSTANTINUS
or... AUC is ab urbe condita ( from the founding of the city)

how exciting - anyway you know the market value is around £50

The romans were well aware that coins could be the medium of propaganda - and so there was a profusion of them
much more than just coinage needs
