Hi everyone My Lawyer had taken permission from court to have my check up from psychologist and psychiatrist. I check the evidence list of the police in assault case by ex girl friend they do not have letter from GP of my ex gf just abortion history done in 2015 and hearsay statement of my ex gf. can court take these evidence on the acquisition of my gf being raped and assaulted by me. I am now waiting for psychologist and psychiatrist appointment and donot know why my lawyer want that. Any advice will be appreciated. thanks

Ask your lawyer. We cannot possibly tell you why he or she might want a report from a psychologist or psychiatrist.

thanks Barmaid can you tell me if i am talking depression and anxiety medicines from last 3 years and attempt suicide after my ex gf left me thinking all my fault will it effect my case ?

Maybe that is one of the aspects that your lawyer wishes to establish from the psychologist or psychiatrist?

Your best course of action will be to discuss this with your lawyer since s/he will have far more information than anyone here and can advise you properly.

Thanks Flonska i was very down and sad since my girl friend left me now after leaving me in 2015 she complain against me in 2017 july got arrested in jan 2018. i check the evidence list and have no doctors letter only word of mouth of her and her friends...
