In the same cemetary were the graves of Black September bombers. Corbyn does not deny being in the cemetary, but he denies laying wreaths at the Black September graves.
The original reported stated
// A Daily Mail front page featuring photographs it said showed the Labour leader near memorials to members of the militant Black September group //
So he was NEAR to The Black September graves, but honouring other more innocent victims.

A story of two plaques.
In this first photo we see a plague on the far right, which is for the three Black September terrorists.

In the second photowe see Cobyn standing in fron of a plague where he is laying a wreath.

The Mail says these are the same plaque, but the size and proportions are clearly different.

Corbyn is a backbench MP who has been thrust into a position for which he is ill-suited (understatement). And now he's being found out.
I am not sure if this story is exaggerated, or fake, or true. I don't even think it matters, particularly, as it's kind of clear from the company he keeps and the views he has held in the past that he really should not be anywhere near the Labour leadership.

I agree. Corbyn is a liability who is not fit for purpose. Under normal circumstances he would be out on his ear like Michael Foot. But we are witnessing extraordinary times where the Conservatives are in such disarry, that Corbyn could actually get elected. He was supposed to do badly at the last elected and get ousted, but instead gained 30 seats largely due to the Conservatives incompetance. There are a lot of people in Labour who think Corbyn can win an election, so it is hard to get support for sacking him.
Talbot,
I agree that Corbyn needs to be got rid of, but that should not be done by a fake news story. It is the job of the press to hold the Opposition lleader to account, but it has to be truthful, and I am not sure the Mail is in this instance.

Corbyn stated "I was there because I wanted to see a fitting memorial to everyone who's died in every terrorist incident".
This has to be one of the most mealy-mouthed statements I think I have ever heard from any politician.
Being in attendance is tacit support - and let's face it, he has form for cosying up with terrorists (Hammas are "friends"!).
As has been stated already in this thread, the man is not fit to be PM and should have stayed on the backbenches where he probably could have carried on showing his support for people and organisations most sensible people wouldn't want anything to do with. The thought of this man being PM scares the crap out of me.

Michael Dugher, former Labour MP, said that Jeremy Corbyn’s claims are contradicted by an article he wrote for the Morning Star at the time, in which he said wreaths “were laid on the graves” of others killed by Mossad agents in Paris in 1991. Mr Dugher tweeted, “To those …. still in denial … how can you dismiss Jeremy Corbyn’s own words?”
The wreath in the picture was possibly destined for one monument – but there was very clearly further ceremony honouring terrorists – which Jeremy Corbyn attended. He said he was there. Corbyn’s sympathies do not lie in the most palatable of places ….. of that there is no doubt.
