That is no use to me.I am no hypochondriac and wouldn't take up valuable time and resoures to see if I may have had the virus.
As a retiree my main leisure activity has been curtailed in any case.
My wishes to travel depend, solely,at the moment of the host country I want to travel to and Greece have put us at No1 of the European Pariah list.

Moderator's note: I'm beginning to get a bit *** off with a new member who has so far posted 8 'questions' that have actually all been nothing but links, with no attempt to explain what points he's hoping to make and without engaging in any way in the conversations/debates that any such links might then generate.
This is a Q&A site, Captain23, so lets have some actual questions from you please!

It certainly will. At the moment the known infection rate in the UK (excluding those who have died) is about four in a thousand. This means that this scheme (if it works, and judging by other "world class" measures we have introduced, seems highly unlikely) will be useless for the other 996.

NJ The gov.t have to explore all options. Its recently been made very clear, when a similar question was asked at a briefing, that until there is a reliable widely available antibody test AND its known that antibodies do confer functional resistance AND its known how long any functional resistance lasts for AND its known that people who have antibodies can't be carriers AND there is acceptance agreement accross nations then its not a goer...if the gov.t hadn't considered the option though they would have been castigated for not thinking ahead!
Following a conversation I had with a dog-walking villager yesterday, it seems that immunity is conferred after infection. He and his partner were on a cruise in December and they and several others came down with 'the most horrible 'flu we'd ever had'. They gave no thought to Covid, but now it seems to be accepted that it has been around since about November.... Anyway, his partner is associated with the police (speed-trap vans etc.) and was tested for antibodies last week (they are checking all personnel)…… yes, she has antibodies and is immune. He's cock-a-hoop because it is likely that he is also.
I offer this up as a factual snippet. Seems pretty convincing to me.

oh and PS, although they are using the antibody test, I understand that there is also a margin of error https:/ /fullfa ct.org/ health/ coronav irus-an tibody- tests-a ccuracy /
Well, this chap was, and she is associated with the police so I'd have thought this was accurate. An Oxford Professor Dr. Sunetra something (didn't catch the name) is also convinced that it has been around since about November and that a high %age of people are already immune. (R4). So I'm not alone, woof.

seems to be a lot about what she thinks and believes and not much research

Met our dog-walking friend this morning and he says that his partner was definitely told that she was immune. I give credence to other views, which say the virus has been around for a while because of a family experience as well. It's building up. I avoid crowds, disinfect hands and leave it at that now.
