When i was young we had yahtzee which had a kind of bowl that you threw the dice in and on the side was space for the dice you wanted to keep each turn. can't find that now - does anyone know where to get it?
Also, can anyone suggest any other games that would be suitable for a family game night that includes an 8 year old (therefore, something that eveyone has an equal chnce of winning)
This is the one we had Bednobs. It seems to match your description! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-1981-Triple-Yahtzee-Board-Game-By-MB-Games-Complete-With-Instructions/392940071986?hash=item5b7d0dac32:g:~DgAAOSwnzNfXgSv&redirect=mobile
Think you can still buy it but all you need are the scoresheets and 5 dice. We bought it about 45 years ago and still play. I used to photocopy the sheets at work. If you get stuck come back and I will send you a couple of scoresheets to get going.
yes mozz, that's the one - triple yahtzee, thankyou!
Thanks to everyone else too. The dixit one looks interesting, and i'll have a look at junior monopoly. I also ordered pass the pigs
