I heard my neighbours and a visitor having a big fight, and I was worried about one of the neighbours who sounded very (!!!!) distressed.
Six police officers arrived and were great, but the house was dark, appeared to be empty, and no one answered.
Will the police visit again tomorrow (hoping to catch them in) to follow this up with them? I’d sleep a little better knowing that they will, so fingers crossed.

Completely agree with Buenchicho. apart from the fact that they are same local police as me, at least you will know you’ve at least tried to offer support.
I don’t feel comfortable knocking on the door. I only know them in passing, and last night was scary to hear. That being said, I am still worried, so will have s think on that point a bit more.
