Duncan Renaldo, The Cisco Kid

I half remember a film set in what were then modern times, i.e. when the film was made, not the 19th century, in which Duncan Renaldo (or a lookalike)appeared dressed as the Cisco Kid. It was in a court case and I think that he thought he really was the Cisco Kid. He was under some sort of delusion. I can't remember anything else about it. Do you know what I'm talking about? My mind has been stirred by the Saturday morning broadcasts of "The Cisco Kid" episodes on Talking Television.

I think that may have been an episode of Hill Street Blues you are thinking of.
