Without a doubt, she was my first screen crush and a lady who I would have gone to any lengths to meet.
By chance, I was invited to become a visiting professor at the University of California some years back and I mooched around at the Santa Barbara Campus amongst others. Olivia lived only a few miles away and I met her through her links with the campus. She was a truly outstanding and caring person and I'll treasure the time I spent in her company.
RIP Olivia.
