The best Labour PM was Harold Wilson who enacted social reforms in education, health, housing, gender equality, price controls, pensions, provisions for disabled, the Open University, Concorde, etc.
The best Tory PM was Margaret Thatcher.
Why everyone picks Churchill I don't know, he was a great leader in WW2, but I can't think of much else he achieved.

Well that was quite something, what more do you want?
For me I'd struggle to name 5. TGL is my No1, others have done some real good stuff but not as outstanding as her. If Blair hadnt lied to go to war I would probably had him in there too he actually did gel the country together for quite some time even if I didnt like all of his policies. And these days he would loko more of a Tory than many we have sitting on the blue benches.

Johnson had an affair with the aforementioned lady, resulting in a pregnancy which she aborted. When Howard asked him about the affair, he denied it, saying reports of the affair were "a pyramid of inverted piffle."
Howard later sacked him from the Shadow Cabinet for lying about the affair.
Thought you'd have been aware of all that.
