I am not posting a picture of me now(aged 76) but this is me aged 4,in 1951,on a knitting pattern.

I don't remember it at all, but my mum was very proud of it!

There were also other knitting patterns featuring me it seems, but try as I may this is only one that I can say is definitely me.

I am the boy centre right.

I do have a t~shirt printed with this image,that I bore people silly with.LOL

Awww Gordon, you look sooooo cute.

Did you know Roger Moore used to model for knitting patterns?

Gordon, you'd be famous if only anyone knitted any more...

jno, I don't know why, but my gaze to his shirt was somehow distracted by his other attire.😍

Lovely 😊

Have to agree, you were very cute.

Jno speak to anyone from the hundreds of knit and natter groups up and down the country to see whether anyone knits any more. The group I belong to never stop knitting

There's a knit and natter group meets in my local library - seems more natter than knit though!

There are at least 4 knitting groups in my immediate area.
We may not knit woollly bonnets and balaclavas any more but knitting as a craft is definitely alive and thriving.
Lovely picture Gordon :)

What a sweetie you were Gordon.

The first love of my life at 15 was  called Gordon.  He was 18 had ginger hair and was the drummer in the local group!

Barsel.  I have knitting patterns still with Roger Moore on.  I  miss knitting and crochet  but my hands and fingers don't cope any more .  Same with my art work.

Not any more  piggy.  Lots of things going on in libraries.  Have been for years.  I don't think books are the nail attra tion any more,

I've seen some yarn bombing in parts of London but not near me

Main attraction!

11.41 CL you cant be serious? well thats the end of civilisation as we speak!! Luckily here in Spain they insist on silence, cuz its the only place left where you will find it in such a noisy country!

On a serious note the main reason they want silence is cuz theyre full of students studying for exams, which seems to be all year round!
