Safety Of Old Perming Lotion??

Does perming lotion go 'off'?

Does it just lose its properties & not work very well?

Does it work, no matter what the age?

Does it become dangerous?

NB: Im fully aware that i dont have to use it, that its cheap to replace, that its not worth the risk etc etc - that is not what is in question.

No use by date on the packaging?

My pure guess is that everything breaks down eventually.

How old is it? Has it been open? How has it been stored?
