Turkish Invasion Of Cyprus 50 Years On
This July will mark 50 years since Northern Cyprus was invaded by the Turks. I have never been to the North side and I am not sure I ever could. Some say it's the most beautiful part.
Have you ever been, and do you think more action should have been taken at the time to eject the invaders?

Undoubtedly I am missing something spectacular on that part of the island but my conscience and my allegiance to my Greek Cypriot friends just won't permit me to go. I still, rightly or wrongly, consider it "occupied".
