An earlier post mentioning a proposed revival of the TV show, Bullseye, got me thinking.

Would 3-2-1 with Dusty Bin, or Golden balls, once hosted by Jasper Carrot, attract modern day audiences?

I used ot love 321.  It was hilarious trying to guess what the prizes were -  the answers never seemed at all related to the clues!

I never could get on with Goldenballs though, even the name makes me shudder...

And The Price is Right.

'Come on down!'

The so called clues on 321 made it a farce. There was zero chance of it appearing to suggest that which was claimed it was hinting at. Indeed quite the opposite.

Goldenballs was good though, cuminating as it did with the choice between trying to win everything or spliting the proceeds.

What was the name of the show with a conveyer belt and a cuddly toy?

Some old ones return under a different guise. For example I remember listening to Double Your Money over 70 years ago on Radio Luxembourg. That re-emerged much later on TV as Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The Generation Game ^^^^

That's it.

Thanks, Mally and 3T.

Watching an old clip of 321 where the prize for the couple was a St Bernard dog!!

Glad they wouldn't be able to do that now.
