Why are people interested in astrology?

What do you like about Astrology and why do you use it often, for what reason?

Beats me as I see no future in it

No point in looking at columns in the paper but there is something to be gained in having a good horary chart drawn up. I use this in conjunction with biorythms and meditation to assist me in deciding when things might flow more naturally the way I want them to.I was very sceptical at first, my wife introducing me to these concepts when I met her, but I was in a mess as a person and thought I may as well give it all a try, so I did, and it's an amazingly useful tool.

I am a complete skeptic, and don't believe astrology has any truth to it. Mind you, we are skeptical, those of us born under the sign of aquarius.

If astrology means nothing and is supposedly harmless, WHY does the Bible put so much importance in warning us against getting involved. The answer is that it is part of Satan's system of taking our attention away from what God wants. It forms a connection with demonism that can allow demons to influence our lives. Demons can only function if we ALLOW them to, via practices, icons and false teachings. The example from the Bible about how demons can influence the life of people, IF YOU ALLOW THEM, is found at Acts 16; 16-18 " 16 And it happened that as we were going to the place of prayer, a certain servant girl with a spirit, a demon of divination, met us. She used to furnish her masters with much gain by practicing the art of prediction. 17 This [girl] kept following Paul and us and crying out with the words: �These men are slaves of the Most High God, who are publishing to YOU the way of salvation.� 18 This she kept doing for many days. Finally Paul got tired of it and turned and said to the spirit: �I order you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her.� And it came out that very hour".
